Opening hours


The camp opens for check in at 09:00 thursday 22th of June.

Last check out is 13:00 Sunday 25th of June.

There will be staffing at camp between 07:00 and 03:00. There will then be possible to purchase electricity and units for the shower podiums.


Thursday: 16:00 to 01:30

Friday: 13:00 to 02:30

Saturday: 13:00 to 02:30

Food at the Festival Camp

Breakfast: 07:00 til 12:00

Dinner: 17:00 til 03:00

There will also be a small kiosk at the festival as well as a grocery store close by the camp.  


Tons of Rock practise Fri age limit. Everyone should enjoy good rock, no matter what. (NB! This apply for the festival aria! At the camp there will be 18 year limit)

General festival pass/day pass is needed

Children under 12 years (included 25.06) goes FREE, with a paying adult.  

NB: If children are spotted walking alone, and can not tell where their parents/guardian is, he or she will be delivered to the guards and the police will be contacted. The same applies if children is spotted with parents/guardian is clearly intoxicated.   


På fredriksten festning er det lett å komme seg rundt for funksjonshemmede.  Det er god oversikt over hele plassen og det skal ikke være noen problemer. Det er tydelig markerte podier for funksjonshemmede både ved telt og fort west.

At Fredriksten Fortress the disabled can easy get around. There is a nice overview over the entire fortress and there should be no problems. There are good access to everything and there are clearly marked podiums both by the tents and fort west.  

Companion will access for free if he or she has a note.

There are also toilets for the disabled. These are marked at the public map.  


The festival take place outside, so dress for the weather. There might also be cold at night so we recommend a thick jacket.


Here at Tons of Rock we thing of the audience safety and therefor we have a list over things you may not bring into the festival aria. This is so that you can have a safe and nice experience during the festival.  

  • Umbrella
  • Knife and other weapons
  • Alcohol
  • Animals
  • Any form for fire. Also includes candles, oil lamps, combustibles, propane, disposable grills etc.
  • Generator
  • Construction Materials
  • Big stereo system
  • Sofas and other big furniture
  • Strictly forbidden to bring professional camera, sound and filming equipment.

You will be searched by the entrance. If any of these items are found, they will be confiscated.

Where you so busy headbanging that you lost your phone, jacket, wallet and shoes? That we understand, but wouldn’t it be nice to get it all back? You’ll find the lost and found will be in the wardrobe by the entrance during the festival’s open hours. At the end of the festival is will be delivered at the police station in Halden
