CHILDREN AT TONS OF ROCK

Tons of Rock practices an open age limit allowing children from the age of 3 and up at the festival grounds. Young children must always be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must be protected from loud noise.

Children between the ages of 3 and 9 are granted free admission, provided the child is pre-registered through Tons of Rock's accreditation form before the deadline. The child must have turned 3 years old by the time the festival takes place.

Please note! The registration must be approved in order for the child to enter free of charge. This MUST be done in advance and before the deadline. It will not be possible to register after the deadline or on-site at the festival.

The registration form opens on January 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM, and a link will be made available on this page at that time.

The deadline to register children between the ages of 3 and 9 is April 1st, 2026, as long as the relevant ticket type is not sold out and there is still available capacity.

We take children's safety seriously and therefore have some guidelines for children at our festival.

If you have got an accredited ticket for your child, you must go to the accreditation booth upon arrival to collect a wristband for the child. Children will receive a festival band which signals that the child is a minor. Small children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

We appreciate and want to motivate the next generation of rockers, but Tons of Rock is essentially a party for adults. We believe that the child's guardian knows what the child can tolerate and needs, but we still ask you to use common sense when it comes to alcohol and intoxication around the children, and we also recommend that the children should be placed with a babysitter before the evening comes.

Visibly intoxicated adults with responsibility for children under the age of 18 will, together with the minor, be escorted from the festival area, and a report will be made to the police.

All children must be protected from loud noise, remember hearing protection for young and old, and move away from loudspeakers if the sound becomes too loud.

We encourage you to agree on a meeting point on the festival grounds that the child can easily find if you get separated. Our information booth can be used for this purpose. It may be a good idea for both parents and children to find this before you go off to enjoy concerts.

Be aware of your surroundings at all times. Shield children from large and dense crowds, mosh pits and highly intoxicated people. If you experience something unpleasant, we want you to report it to security guards or other staff in the area.

We recommend that everyone under the age of 18 is accompanied by a friend or guardian throughout the festival.

NOTE: Remember that Tons of Rock is a festival, and not a park area. It is not permitted to bring prams, brought food (apart from children's food) or drinks into the area. Therefore, plan well so that both you and your child have a great experience at the festival.

We ask you to remember to think about the following:

  • Bring hearing protection for the child.
  • Remember sunscreen, both in your bag and on your skin.
  • It may be a good idea to bring an extra change of clothes for the child.
  • Make sure the child gets enough fluids during the day.

And last, but not least: Enjoy the festival, experience great concerts, and create good memories together!
