DEAR NEIGHBOURS OF TONS OF ROCK!

Organizing a festival in a densely populated city like Oslo is not always easy. Being a neighbor to one of Norway's biggest festivals can be a burden, which we have a great understanding of. We therefore want to do what we can to ensure that you experience the least possible strain as a result of our festival.

There is naturally a lot of activity at Ekebergsletta both before, during and after the festival. We hope that our focus on information flow will make this a good experience for all of you who belong to the area.

More information about time and dates for information such as road closings and sound checks will be made available here closer to the festival.

Practical

The festival is planned and carried out in close cooperation with Oslo Municipality, police, security company and others. This means that there are many perspectives, considerations and legislation to be accommodated, and we will do our utmost to ensure that the strain as a neighbor is as minimal as possible.

There will naturally be some noise from a festival area. We will carry out continuous measurements of the decibel levels both in and around the festival area. We will ensure that the sound is within the limits of legislation and reasonableness. The main stage will have a south-westerly orientation, with the aim of shielding the largest possible part of residential areas.
