After this year's festival, we conducted an extensive survey where the public could give feedback on this year's Tons of Rock. Did you feel safe? What do you think of the food? Did the artists live up to your expectations? What do you want to see in 2024?

A total of 8,626 festival participants responded to this year's survey, and what is consistent is how satisfied everyone is. We are proud that the public enjoyed Tons in 2023, felt very safe and want to come back. This is our most important indicator that it was a successful festival.

For Tons of Rock, it is gratifying that the festival area was well received with varied content and plenty of space, that the volunteers are seen as positive and important for the festival and, not least, that the audience feels that they are safe at the festival.
The good concert experiences consist of good sound, security, a good view and big screens.

Some key figures from this year's survey:
1) Tons retained a high proportion of women (just under 40%)
2) The audience has an average age of 37.7 years, and the majority is between the ages of 25-34 and 42-45. All age groups are present at Ekebergsletta!
3) A very high proportion used public transport to and from the festival (approx. 90% bus, tram, e-bike, walking)
4) Good execution of logistics (25,000 in and out every day) (80-85% are satisfied/very satisfied)
5) 85% are satisfied/very satisfied with this year's artists.
6) 95% are satisfied/very satisfied with the concert experience.
7) 98.5% feel that they are confident/very safe in Tons of Rock.
8) The same applies to volunteers where fully 95% are satisfied.
9) 96% of the public is satisfied/very satisfied with Tons in 2023
10) 95% would recommend friends/family to go to Tons in 2024
11) More older ladies like Black Debbath compared to last year.
12) Those who wanted to see the Black Debbath next year gave the toilets a very good rating.
