3x NORWEGIAN ROCK TO TONS OF ROCK FRIDAY 28 JUNE 2024

When we first celebrate a birthday, it is a great pleasure to dig a little in the history books. All 3 artists are playing at Tons of Rock on Friday 28 June 2024!

 

SPAN

A reunited SPAN! The band recently sold out two Rockefellers in no time, and it is a pleasure to be able to welcome the guys to Norway's biggest rock festival. SPAN was one of the really big bands in the early 2000s, and dominated live stages and festivals both at home and abroad. Now the guys will reunite exactly 20 years after the debut album Mass Distraction went on sale! We're really looking forward to hearing catchy rock songs and energetic live performances this summer.

 

GO-GO GORILLA

After an extraordinary 30-year long lunch break, the mythical Norwegian rock band Go-Go Gorilla announces their comeback. A remarkable return to the rock scene is happening at Tons Of Rock on Friday 28 June 2024!
Finally, Alex Rosén can be Alex Rosén again.

The band promises fans a loud journey through classic hits such as "Go Go Gorilla", "It's Elvis", "Mother Porno" and "Superfuzz" as they explore new dimensions in music, influenced by their experiences in parallel universes during the 30 years long break.

 

VALENTOURETTES CELEBRATES JOKKE 60 YEARS

The man, the myth and the legend Jokke would have turned 60 in 2024, and it will be celebrated in style at Tons of Rock on Friday 28 June! On Friday 28th of June 2024 there will be a very unique and special concert at Tons of Rock to celebrate that artist, songwriter and poet Jokke would have turned 60. The eminent Valentourettes are on stage, and for the occasion will bring some guests to shine on this exclusive concert. It will be nostalgic, tearful, beautiful and loud. Everything can be repaired and repeated! Joachim "Jokke" Nielsen is one of the greatest in Norwegian rock of all time, an icon who is still much loved and deserves a tribute. The first five Jokke & Valentinerne albums in the period 1986 to 1994 are timeless classics that are still played loudly in countless furnished homes. Join us for a grand celebration with the Valentourettes and friends.
