If you return the cup to the bar with your next purchase, you will not have to pay sustainability fee on the next unit.

Sustainability fee is a fee of NOK 20 per cup you buy in the bar. To avoid paying sustainability fee on your next purchase, you must return a cup the next time you buy drinks from the bar.

Why do I have to pay sustainability fee?

I don't want a new drink, what do I do with the cup?

You can hand in the cup and receive an "environment voucher" which you can use the next time you want to shop in the bar. You can do this e.g. before you go home for the day so that you don't have to pay a new sustainability fee the following day. It is not possible to get a refund, but you will not have to pay a new fee on your next purchase.
